Brad Paisley was in California on Wednesday night (Oct. 25), to perform the National Anthem prior to Game 2 of the 2017 World Series. Readers can press play above to watch his performance.

Paisley accompanied himself on guitar for his performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Rather than go the Jimi Hendrix route, though, Paisley kept his guitar-playing simple -- save for small flourishes at the beginning and end of the song.

The Houston Astros won Wednesday night's World Series game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-6, tying the series at one game apiece. Game 3 is scheduled to take place on Friday (Oct. 27) at 8PM ET in Houston, Texas. The World Series is a best-of-seven series.

Back in the world of country music, Paisley is gearing up to host the 2017 CMA Awards on Nov. 8. He and co-host Carrie Underwood will return to emcee the annual ceremony for the 10th year in a row. Paisley is also scheduled to perform during the 2017 CMA Awards, with Kane Brown; together, the two will sing Paisley's newest single, "Heaven South."
