W.B. Givens is releasing his first full-length album, 'Locomotion,' next Tuesday (Oct. 29), and he's letting readers of The Boot hear the entire project early via an exclusive album stream.

The Mississippi-born musician grew up in the land of the Delta blues, but a stint in North Carolina gave him a passion for bluegrass and traditional country music. Givens now resides in Nashville's multi-cultural east side, which is home to a diverse mix of musicians, artists and writers.

Givens' own music is a unique amalgam of his influences, encompassing elements of bluegrass and bluesy country, but with enough of a modern slant to the production to fit right in with contemporary Americana.

The unique lyrical perspective that underlies songs like 'Death in Her Afternoon,' 'Blood & Gold & Latitude' and 'Back to Church' is sure to please fans who appreciate genuine song craft. The video for the album's first single, 'Oh My God,' is already in rotation on CMT Edge after premiering on American Songwriter's web site.

Givens will be launching a Southeast tour in the fall to promote the release of 'Locomotion.' Preview the album in its entirety below.

Note: This stream has ended.
