The Country Radio Broadcasters are presenting their 2014 Career Achievement Award to Vince Gill. Gill will receive the award at the Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony early next year.

As part of the festivities, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell will be performing a tribute to the 'Whenever You Come Around' singer, and will also present him the award.

"Vince Gill is unquestionably one of the greatest artists in the country genre,” says Executive Director of CRS Bill Mayne. “His body of amazing work continues to evolve, and his performances inspire us all. He is a remarkable ambassador for country music with his talents, grace, class, leadership, humility, humanity, style and wicked sense of humor. We are very proud to present Vince with this richly deserved honor."

Previous winners of the award include Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn, Merle Haggard and George Strait.
