Urban and Kidman’s Daughter Already Has Celebrity Pals
Nashville and Hollywood are already gushing about 1-day-old Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. Nicole Kidman gave birth Monday to her first child with hubby Keith Urban. The little girl weighed in at 6 lbs, 7 ounces and is said to be happy and healthy -- fantastic news to the couple's celebrity pals.
"Even just thinking about it now, I'm tearing up because I'm so happy for them," Taylor Swift writes on her MySpace page. "They're such incredible people . . . Nicole Kidman came to Nashville and treated everyone with grace and respect, and has always been so humble. I'm overjoyed for them."
Brooks & Dunn's Ronnie Dunn hosted the new parents at a Fourth of July cookout last Friday. A very pregnant Kidman apparently told Dunn that she was more than ready for the baby to come.
"Nicole told me Friday night that she was hoping that my fireworks would do it," Dunn tells Nashville's Tennessean newspaper. "I'm overjoyed for them."
"They've been so excited. I'm so happy for them," adds Kix Brooks. "A red-headed movie star and a guitar slinger -- [she's] gonna be one beautiful baby girl!
The Urbans' neighbor, LeAnn Rimes, says she knows Sunday Rose is in great hands. "Nicole and Keith are two of the most kind, caring people I know," she tells PEOPLE magazine. "I am thrilled for them."
'American Idol' alum Michael Johns calls the Urban baby news "awesome!" The singer says of his fellow Aussie friends, "They're genuinely a happy couple – it's not a Hollywood thing . . . They really do love each other. So anytime a baby can be born into that situation, it's pretty cool."
Sunday Rose joins older half-siblings Isabella and Connor, Kidman's two children from her marriage to Tom Cruise.
