We all know that Tyler Farr has musical skills, but apparently he has some comedic skills as well. He's showing them off in his 'Farr Too Easy to Vote' videos, which parody a cute AT&T ad campaign and implore fans -- of all ages -- to vote for him in the New Artist of the Year category at the 2015 ACM Awards.

Farr was also nominated for New Artist of the Year last year. This time around, he shares the category with several rising stars, including Brett Eldredge, Kip Moore and Thomas Rhett. But while the 30-year-old is thrilled to be included this year, in a nominee list that is all men, he says he isn't a fan of the new "bro-country" label that seems to be dominating the airwaves.

“I have no clue what it is, and whoever invented that term, I’d like to smack him upside the head,” he says. “I live in Chapel Hill, Tenn., which has the largest tractor pull in the South, and there’s not a lot more that you do on the weekends than drink and party. And I write what I know about. So I am gonna have songs that have partying and hot girls and pickup trucks. There’s only so much you can write about. If I don’t know anything about vacuums, I’m not gonna be a vacuum salesman. It’s as simple as that.”

Farr is currently climbing the charts with 'A Guy Walks Into a Bar,' from his upcoming new album. Download the single here.

The 2015 ACM Awards will air live from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on April 19 at 8 PM ET on CBS. Voting for New Artist of the Year can be found here.
