Husband-and-wife duo Two Story Road are exclusively premiering an acoustic performance of their song "Typical" with The Boot.

"Typical" comes from Two Story Road's eponymous debut EP, released in December. The acoustic performance, which readers can watch above, highlights the couple's spot-on vocals, while the song's emotive lyrics are relateable for anyone who's been through the ups and downs of a relationship.

""Typical" is about an on again / off again, I love you / I hate you, throwing things and slamming doors kind of romance," the duo's Brandon and Jamelle Fraley tell The Boot. "It's sad, but sort of comforting, too, because it paints a picture of what many relationships go through.

"We love singing "Typical" because it gives us a chance play two characters and express different emotions than we normally get to show," they add.

If Jamelle Fraley's vocals remind you of Carrie Underwood, it may be because she sang background for the superstar for five years. Meanwhile, Brandon Fraley has worked with Gretchen Wilson and American Idol alum Danny Gokey. The couple has over 1,000 shows, 100 Grand Ole Opry performances and loads of touring miles under their belts, but their newest tunes are their first foray into country music as a duo.

The Two Story Road EP, which is available for purchase on iTunes, boasts six songs, including "Typical." The Fraleys co-wrote a few of the tracks, and other Nashville songwriters, such as Jeffrey Steele, Tom Douglas, Gordie Sampson and Steve McEwan, also had a hand in the songwriting process. Mark Bright produced the project.
