Country star Trisha Yearwood is premiering her heartbreaking new track 'End of the World' exclusively for readers of The Boot.

Her 12th studio album, 'PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit,' dropped Nov. 17 and features 10 of the singer's biggest, career-defining hits, as well as six brand-new tracks, including the lead single, 'PrizeFighter' featuring Kelly Clarkson.

'End of the World' is a desperate sort of song. It's a track that should be listened to in the middle of a torrential downpour or a record-breaking hailstorm because this tune feels like the coming of the end of times -- at least on an emotional level. Yearwood sings from the point of view of a woman who knows her love is cheating on her with another gal, and the chorus is especially hard-hitting: "I wondered how this would feel / Turns out it ain't no big deal / It's just the end of the world."

At one point, she poignantly sings, "So this is how it goes down / No fallen sky, no trumpet sound." It's a song filled with powerful guitar, the crashing of drums and Yearwood's absolutely yearning voice -- a standout on the album, to say the least.

"This album was about bringing together the songs that show what I’m all about. These are the classic songs people fell in love with and the new songs that show 'what’s next,'" the songstress says. "When you come to the shows, it’s a mix of favorites with a few new ones that people are coming to hear and sing along with.”

Yearwood is currently on a world tour with her husband, country superstar Garth Brooks. She was initially not sure how she would be received by the crowds, since she plays a full set in the middle of his show, but she says she didn't need to worry.

"It’s been wonderful. They’ve been so welcoming, and they sing all the songs," Yearwood says. "Those crowds. There’s nothing like those crowds. I’ve always said that there’s nothing like a Garth crowd."
