Inspirational country music singer Trae Edwards believes that America is facing a crisis -- but, as he says in his new song, love can help get us through it. Edwards is premiering the music video for his song "Love Can Get Us Through" exclusively with The Boot.

The "Love Got Us Through" music video features a number of sad storylines, both personal and national, as Edwards sings about how, no matter the situation, "sweet love" will help those hurting cope with loss and heartache. Readers can press play above to watch.

“My thoughts and prayers are with those that are hurting, and with this nation that needs to be united,” says Edwards. "At the end of the day, we must hold up our heads and trust that love will indeed get us through.”

In the 1990s, Edwards worked as a studio session and background vocalist in Nashville, before relocating to Fayetteville, N.C., due to family matters and establishing himself as a photographer and graphic design artist. Edwards released his debut album, I Believed, in 2013, and followed that project with 2015's Voices, co-produced by Edwards and featuring performances from the Oak Ridge Boys' William Lee Golden and Joe Bonsall, Bo Bice and more.

"Love Got Us Through" is available for download on iTunes and Amazon, and more information about Edwards can be found on his official website.
