Tracy Lawrence released his first album in five years on Tuesday (Aug. 20), and he's taking over The Boot's Twitter to chat live with his fans as part of the album's opening week celebration.

'Headlights, Taillights and Radios' marks a new creative chapter for Lawrence, whose 22 Top 10 hits include 'Time Marches On,’ ‘Find Out Who Your Friends Are,’ ‘Alibis’ and ‘Paint Me a Birmingham.’

“When recording the new album, it was a very different process than I had ever done before,” he states. “We ended up recording the album in two parts; that’s just how it worked out. I started recording in the direction to make a more traditional county record. But as time progressed, I needed to explore and challenge myself musically. I wanted to go deeper and try a more edgy and progressive sound that reflected where I was going next.”

Lawrence will take over The Boot's Twitter from 9PM-10PM ET on Wednesday (Aug. 21) to discuss the new album. Fans can submit their questions using the hashtag #tracyontheboot. The singer will interact live with his fans by answering those questions in real time.
