Billy Ray Cyrus is going to be a grandfather -- and Miley an aunt! At least, that's what E! news is claiming to have confirmed. The entertainment news network reports that Trace Cyrus, the adopted eldest son of the country singer, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Brenda Song, a Disney Channel actress best known for her role on 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.'

Trace made a name for himself as the lead guitarist of Metro Station, a pop-rock band that hit the Top 10 with 'Shake It.' The 22-year-old Kentucky native is now in a new band called Ashland HIGH, along with running a clothing line aptly named Southern Made Hollywood Paid. Trace has been dating the 23-year-old Brenda for more than a year, first appearing on a red carpet together in May 2010.

We're betting Granddad Billy Ray will have some good advice for the dad-to-be. "I pray for my kids that they live their life with purpose, knowing that it's about giving back and finding out what you can do in this world to hopefully make it a better place," the singer/actor tells Parade magazine.

Billy Ray is currently promoting his new album, 'I'm American,' a collection of patriotic tunes that celebrates the 20th anniversary of his hit, 'Some Gave All.' "[It's a] tribute to veterans and the men and women who are sacrificing so much for our freedom," he tells The Boot, "and the sacrifice their entire family is making."
