Trace Adkins is giving fans a sneak peak at his upcoming album with the release of the lyric video for the project's title track, "Something's Going On."

"Something's Going On" was penned by Chris Cavanaugh and Mark Stephen Jones. The moody love song showcases Adkins' voice, though the song isn't as sinister as its title might suggest.

"She's never been good / At keeping secrets / I'm gonna get down / To the bottom of this," Adkins sings in the chorus of "Something's Going On." "Turn down the lights / And spend the whole night / Finding out / All I should / Yeah, something's going on / And it sure feels good."

Something's Going On is set for release on March 31. Adkins has also recently shared a lyric video for the album's song "Still a Soldier" and the music video for his current single, "Watered Down," but for the "Something's Going On" clip, the singer went a sexier route: The lyric video features a silhouette of a woman dancing seductively as the song's lyrics appear onscreen.

Something's Going On, which was voted The Boot's Album of the Month for March, is Adkins' 12th studio album and his first release with BBR Music Group’s Wheelhouse Records, with which he signed in 2015. The disc is available for pre-order on iTunes.
