Trace Adkins Shows Sympathy for President Obama
Trace Adkins has become a regular on the political talk show circuit, as the normally soft-spoken star is actually quite outspoken about the problems in America. The country singer visited FOX News' 'Glenn Beck' show Monday and expressed empathy for President Obama.
"What we're facing right now is a lot bigger than any one person or one ideology," said Adkins. "It's just huge. I think about the president now. Sometimes I think I see a little bit of that deer in the headlight look on his face, because it's got to be overwhelming ... every morning to wake up and face what he's facing."
Adkins also expressed frustration over competition between political parties, saying their constant bickering certainly isn't helping the country. "It's not always about winning the game. It's about how you play the game," he said. "Winning at all costs -- I never have believed in that. You need to play by the rules, and you need to do what's right."
