Toby Keith opened his latest I Love This Bar & Grill restaurant in Rosemont, Ill. in style. The singer celebrated the grand-opening of the eatery Thursday (Aug. 15), located just outside of Chicago, with an impromptu performance of three of his biggest hits.

"I've gotta christen this place," Keith announced from stage, before launching into 'Beer For My Horses,' 'Red Solo Cup,' and a version of 'I Love This Bar' that included lyrics not suitable for radio airplay.

Keith, who is a vocal supporter of the military troops, always includes the American Soldier Special on every menu, as a way to honor servicemen and women.

"That's the cheeseburger, fries and a soda on the house for the military," Keith explains to CMT. "When the first restaurant opened in Vegas, I thought we should have something to offer to the troops or any kind of veteran who comes in. We give thousands of those away every year in every location."

The Oklahoma native has a few other recommendations from the restaurant's extensive menu. "The fried bologna sandwich. My mother fed them to us as a kid, so she's responsible for that," he notes. "The ribs and chicken are fantastic. The bone-in rib eye is great. The barbeque sauce is fantastic. And each city has its own local flair that they add to the menu that I like to check out."

Keith plans to open the chain in Orange Beach, Ala., Oxnard, Calif. and Houston, Texas in the near future. See a list of all of the I Love This Bar & Grill locations here.
