Toby Keith Performs ‘Shut Up and Hold On’ at 2014 ACM Awards [VIDEO]

Toby Keith sang his latest single, ‘Shut Up and Hold On,’ at the 2014 ACM Awards.

Artists and fans alike could be seen swaying to the beat of the song while Keith performed along with his full band, which included a three-piece horn section.

Singing, “Get in, sit down, shut up and hold on / Can’t wait, too late, it’s time to get gone / Show up downtown, get us a buzz on / Get in, sit down, shut up and hold on,” Keith didn’t move from his spot on stage throughout the song, but he didn’t need to. His vocal delivery was captivating enough to draw everyone’s attention, and keep it for the duration of the tune.

The song is from Keith’s latest album, ‘Drinks After Work.’ It’s also the title of his upcoming tour, which will include Colt Ford and his daughter, Krystal Keith, as his opening acts. The tour will kick off on May 25 in Iowa.
