Toby Keith's 12th Annual Toby Keith and Friends Golf Classic raised a record-breaking amount for Keith's OK Kids Korral and the Toby Keith Foundation.

The 2015 event, which took place May 15-16 at the Belmar Golf Club and Riverwind Casino in Norman, Okla., raised $1.2 million, topping the Golf Classic's 2013's record of $1,037,000.

A live auction, which brought in over $575,000 and included a week-long stay at Keith's house in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, helped set the fundraising record at this year's event. That particular auction item went for $70,000; other live auction items included a custom guitar, packages to the CMT Music Awards and the British Open, an outing with pro golfer Anthony Kim and more.

“This event and our USO Tours are the best things we get to do all year,” Keith says. “I’ve been blessed with healthy kids, and I’m more than blessed to bring a bunch of folks together who want to help folks who haven’t. The great time we have — and we do have one, now — is a far distant second to making a difference for kids and families right here where we live.”

The fundraiser also included a silent auction, which featured concert tickets, a hat autographed by George Strait and a guitar painting signed by Keith. In addition to the funds raised through auction, the winner of the Built Ford Tough Shootout, Frank Starr, donated his prize, a new Ford truck, back to the cause.

All $1.2 million raised at the 2015 Toby Keith and Friends Golf Classic will go to the OK Kids Korral, which offers pediatric cancer patients and their families a cost-free home during treatment. The Korral opened last year and has since helped thousands of family members reduce the cost of travel for cancer treatment. More information about the home can be found at TobyKeithFoundation.org.
