Before heading out on tour this summer, Toby Keith made a stop at the Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic to raise money for his foundation.

The tournament was held to raise money for Keith's OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for pediatric cancer patients and their families in Oklahoma City. Keith's signature alcoholic beverage, Wild Shot, was present at the event at a portable watering hole, which has become a staple at Keith's shows, offering drinks to tournament players.

More than 800 people attended the opening dinner, concert and silent auction, with 44 teams participating in the golf tournament. High bids included $52,000 for dinner with Keith at the OK Kids Korral, $30,000 for a Toby Keith Behind the Scenes Experience, and $25,000 for an African safari. The event raised a total of $950,000.

While on tour, Keith is running a Drinks After Work sweepstakes with Wild Shot, offering fans the chance to fly to one of his I Love This Bar & Grill locations with a guest to share a drink with the singer.

Keith brought Wild Shot Mezcal to the United States in 2011.

“There is a void in the market place in getting this drink to the average person, so it seemed natural for me to start a business selling Toby Keith Mezcal,” he says. “I have always been fascinated with Mexico and the drink Mezcal. It is a part of my life.”

The Oklahoma native is joined by his daughter, Krystal Keith, on the Shut Up and Hold On Tour, which kicked off in May at the Tree Town Music Festival in Iowa.
