Tim McGraw has released the second single, 'Meanwhile Back at Mama's,' from his upcoming album, 'Sundown Heaven Town.'

The Louisiana native debuted the song at the 2014 ACM Awards, along with his wife, Faith Hill, who also sings on the tune. While the two have several other duets in their history together, including the multi-platinum song, 'It's Your Love,' and their 2005 collaboration, 'Like We Never Loved at All,' this organic, mellow tune perfectly highlights their amazing vocal abilities.

The song is also a departure from McGraw's first single, 'Lookin' for That Girl,' from the new album. While 'Lookin' for That Girl' was an electronic, pop-infused song, with the addition of auto-tune effects on his vocal, 'Meanwhile Back at Mama's' couldn't be more different, sounding more like an alternative country song than one that belongs on a Top 40 radio station. But if it seems like the singer-songwriter is trying to keep fans guessing, it's because that's exactly what he's trying to do.

“With every album, my approach is to push a few of my own boundaries and try things I’ve never done before," he explains. “This last year was unbelievable, and I don’t have any plans to let off the gas now."

'Sundown Heaven Town' won't be released until Sept. 16, but fans will still have plenty of chances to hear songs from the new album. McGraw will hit the road on May 9 in Sacramento, Calif., on his Sundown Heaven Town Tour. See a list of all of his upcoming shows here, and download 'Meanwhile Back at Mama's' here.
