The week is off to a great start for Tim McGraw, whose latest album, 'Emotional Traffic,' hits stores Tuesday (Jan. 24). His most recent No. 1 song, 'Felt Good on My Lips,' has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for digital sales exceeding 500,000 downloads.

The chart-topping tune, which was written by brother songwriting teams Brett and Jim Beavers, and Brett and Brad Warren, is included on the new album. The 12-song project was co-produced by the Louisiana native and longtime collaborator Byron Gallimore. The list of noted Nashville songwriters on the 'Emotional Traffic' credits include the Martina McBride, Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, among others.

"It's one of those records that you want to put earphones and just turn it up and really listen to every part of the record," Tim tells Billboard. "It's more of a groove, feel-good album than we've done in awhile. It's got a lot of depth to it sonically and musically. It's just a really cool-sounding record to me. It's one of my favorite records I've ever done."
