Tim McGraw and Texas band Midland covered Alabama's "Dixieland Delight" while on the 2017 Soul2Soul World Tour.

"Got to hang backstage with Midland at #Soul2Soul Edmonton and sang one of the best! - Alabama "Dixieland Delight,"" McGraw posted on Facebook.

Clad in their cowboy hats, McGraw and Midland (comprised of Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy and Jess Carson) sing the 1983 hit "Dixieland Delight" backstage in Edmonton.

The video, filmed in black and white, shows Midland armed with acoustic guitars along with a few other accompanying players filling out the sound. The vocals were the main focus, and McGraw plus the band certainly did "Dixieland Delight" justice with their smooth sound and seamless harmonies.

"Dixieland Delight" was the lead single from Alabama's The Closer You Get and the ninth No. 1 for the group, remaining one of their most popular to this day.

Midland just finished up a four-date trek with McGraw and Faith Hill's Soul2Soul Tour. They are one of many opening acts for the massive run which kicked off April 7 in New Orleans, La.
