Thompson Square and BBR Music Group are parting ways. The husband-and-wife duo has been signed to the label group's Stoney Creek Records since 2009.

Per a press release, sent out on Thursday (July 13), Thompson Square "have decided to step away" from Stoney Creek Records; however, they remain represented by Pennington Entertainment's Shawn Pennington and William Morris Endeavor’s Greg Oswald and Abby Wells Bass.

“It’s bittersweet leaving our Stoney Creek Records family. So many memories have been made and so many goals have been achieved,” says Shawna Thompson, “We will be forever grateful to Benny and Carolyn Brown for their faith in our artistry. It has changed our lives forever.”

While with Stoney Creek Records, Thompson Square released two albums: their 2011 debut, Thompson Square, and 2013's Just Feels Good. They have earned two No. 1 singles -- the multi-platinum "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" and the gold-certified "If I Didn't Have You" -- as well as three other Top 20 singles.

“All good things must come to an end, but we look forward to the future and to new beginnings,” Keifer Thompson says. “We are extremely excited about this new chapter of our life and what it means for our music and our fans.”

Thompson Square are currently recording a new album; Nathan Chapman is producing. Their most recent single is 2016's "You Make It Look So Good."

Also in 2016, the Thompsons welcomed their first child, son Rigney Cooper Thompson.
