Thompson Square have canceled three more shows, just weeks after singer Keifer Thompson was ordered to vocal rest by his doctors.

The duo consisting of married couple Keifer and Shawna Thompson, who recently took home Vocal Duo of the Year honors at the 2013 ACM Awards, posted the most recent cancellations to their website June 10. They have canceled shows scheduled for June 13 in Peoria, Ill., June 14 in St. Louis, Mo. and June 15 in Chicago. Fans who had reserved meet and greet passes for those shows will be contacted.

Keifer initially broke the news of his vocal problems on May 29, posting, "I was urged by doctors to cancel Thompson Square's appearances and go on complete vocal rest several weeks ago; however, neither Shawna nor I wanted to disappoint our fans, which we love and respect dearly."

He continued, "Words cannot express how devastated we both are to bring this news to our fans. We hope that you will understand what a difficult decision this has been and know that we can't wait to get back out on the road and make it up to you as soon as possible."

According to the duo's tour schedule, their next show is slated for June 21 at the Butler County Fair in Allison, Iowa. It is unclear whether that concert will go on as planned; the meet and greet for that show has been closed, along with almost all of the meet and greet sessions for upcoming dates.
