Thompson Square are back on the road after singer Keifer Thompson's recent vocal problems, and the pair couldn't be happier. Keifer and his wife (and musical partner), Shawna Thompson, performed last Friday (June 28) in Fargo, N.D. It was the first time they'd been onstage since Keifer's doctors ordered him to go on strict vocal rest.

The reigning ACM Vocal Duo of the Year were out on the road in support of their new album 'Just Feels Good' when Keifer began experiencing problems. Doctors discovered he had a vocal cord hemorrhage and a polyp, and though he tried to continue performing, on May 29 the duo announced they were canceling a string of upcoming performances in an emotional post to their website.

They ended up canceling even more dates throughout June as he continued to improve, and on Jun 26 Keifer posted to Twitter, "Going to rehearsal to test out the ol pipes today. #pumped."

The duo posted several pictures of their time in Fargo, where they performed and signed copies of their new book, 'Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?'

Now that Keifer is back in action, Thompson Square won't be sitting around bored. Their website lists a busy tour schedule from July through October, both on their own and as part of Luke Bryan's Dirt Road Diaries tour.
