Thomas Rhett, Brett Eldredge Announced as 2015 CMT on Tour Headliners

Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge are getting ready to hit the road together as co-headliners of the 2015 CMT on Tour.

This year will be the 14th year of the annual event, which is being dubbed the Boots & Suits Tour in honor of the two country stars' fashion sense. Danielle Bradbery will join the two singers on the road as well.

Rhett and Eldredge went to social media to make the announcement, teasing the tour on CMT's Instagram account before officially announcing the news through a scripted exchange on their Twitter accounts:

The pair also released the video above, showing how they came to the decision to go out on the road together. After a hard-fought battle to see who would win the headlining spot -- including a pushup contest, a lightsaber battle and even a coin toss -- they decided to call it a truce and share the spotlight.

Cities and dates for CMT on Tour 2015 have not yet been announced.

Rhett is currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line, and he recently released an '80s throwback video for his latest singe, "Crash and Burn." Eldredge is on the road with Darius Rucker; his sophomore album, Illinois, is set for release on Sept. 11.
