Confirming rumors that have been swirling for months, the Zac Brown Band have announced the release of a new album produced by rocker Dave Grohl.

The celebrated country group will release 'The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1' on Dec. 10 via their own Southern Ground Artists label. The album features the studio recording of 'Day for the Dead,' which the group premiered live with Grohl at the 2013 CMAs, causing an enormous stir.

The album also includes 'All Alright,' 'Let It Rain' and 'The Muse,' a song written by Southern Ground Artists label mates the Wood Brothers.

The upcoming release marks the first time the band have recorded at Southern Ground Studios in Nashville. In addition to the traditional Zac Brown Band lineup of Zac Brown, John Driskell Hopkins, Jimmy De Martini, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar, Clay Cook and Daniel de los Reyes, the recordings also feature guest performances by Oteill Burbridge on bass, and Grohl on drums.

"Dave is a musical genius," Zac Brown says in a press release. "It's been amazing to play with him on stage and get to spend time working with him in the studio. We are excited for fans to hear the music we've been able to create together."
