The Infamous Stringdusters will open their their 2016 summer tour with a very special moment: a show at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with special guests Lee Ann Womack and Nicki Bluhm.

"Both Lee Ann and Nicki are premier singers," the Stringdusters' dobro player, Andy Hall, says in a press release, "and having them join us for our Red Rocks show should make for an electric night!"

The Infamous Stringdusters' Red Rocks show is set for May 6, the beginning of a months-long string of dates that will take the band across the country for concerts and bluegrass festival appearances. A full list of dates can be seen below.

The Stringdusters' sets change night to night, and often take on a "jam band" vibe, with the band moving their songs in a totally new direction from what can be heard on their albums. The group's banjo player, Chris Pandolfi, tells The Boot that the process of putting together a live show is consistently “a challenge” and “time consuming,” but also “really cool.”

Womack and Bluhm both make appearances on the five-piece band's latest album, Ladies & Gentlemen, which was released in February. The project also features collaborations with Sara WatkinsMary Chapin Carpenter, Aofie O’Donovan, Joss Stone, Abigail Washburn, Sarah Jarosz and others.
