The Band Perry love connecting with their fans all across the country, and now they've found a way to reach out to their overseas fans on a regular basis, as well. The sibling trio have begun hosting weekly live chats every Tuesday afternoon at 4PM CT at www.ustream.tv/thebandperry. Fans from all around the world have been tuning in to see what's going on with one of their favorite country families. The Perrys say fans from as far as Brazil and even the Middle East have contacted them, and they're amazed at the global reach their music is beginning to have.

"There are several girls from the UK who are on our chats, and one of the girls on our chat the other day stayed up until 3:30 in the morning just so she could watch it live," Kimberly Perry says. "They follow us on Twitter and keep up with our music. We've started to get a lot of feedback on our social networking ... and it's just amazing to me how the Internet makes the globe so tiny. And, gratefully, iTunes has released our EP to different countries than just the States right now, so it's really incredible. We just want to be as accessible and available to our fans as possible."

The Band say they're also seeing the social networking connection trickle down to their shows, where fans are familiar with album cuts they perform that haven't even been released to radio. "We do so many acoustic performances at radio stations, and a lot of them are up online, and so songs like 'Independence' or 'Walk Me Down the Middle,' those are on the back half of the project, and these folks are already fans of the songs and they haven't even heard the recordings yet! So it helps us gauge what people like," Kimberly explains.

Stateside fans will get a chance to enjoy some of those new songs live beginning next month, when The Band Perry join Alan Jackson's tour. Their full-length self-titled debut album hits stores October 12.
