The Band Perry to Perform at Super Bowl Pre-Game Show
The Band Perry have been added to the pre-game festivities for Super Bowl XLVIII.
The sibling trio of Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry will perform at the NFL Tailgate Party, which will be televised on ‘Fox Super Bowl Sunday.’
‘American Idol‘ season 11 champion Phillip Phillips is also slated to perform, and the broadcast will include appearances by the casts of the Broadway hits ‘Jersey Shore’ and ‘Rock of Ages.’
The group — who released their most recent album, ‘Pioneer,’ in April of 2013 — will perform prior to the game between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks, which takes place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on Feb. 2. Super Bowl XLVIII will feature half-time entertainment from Bruno Mars.
Zac Brown Band and Jake Owen are also scheduled to take part in the Super Bowl festivities; both acts will perform on a cruise ship docked in Manhattan’s Hudson River as part of the Bud Light Hotel concert on Feb. 1 and 2, respectively.
