The Band Perry have another No. 1 hit to add to their credit. 'Done' was written by brothers Neil and Reid Perry, along with Jacob Bryant and John Davidson, and big sister Kimberly couldn't be prouder.

“This is the first No. 1 that they’ve had a hand in penning,” the songstress shared before their No. 1 party for the song (quote via Country Weekly), before jokingly adding, “I was not the inspiration for it.”

Reid and Neil came up with the one-word title, but the brothers say the song almost wrote itself, and they finished the entire tune in one session.

“I got to be the first one to hear it and I immediately fell in love with it," Kimberly added. "Good job!”

'Done' is the second single from their chart-topping album 'Pioneer,' which the threesome say is the perfect moniker for their sophomore CD.

“A lot of times you think of pioneers and think of covered wagons and bonnets or astronauts on moons,” Reid tells The Boot. “But for us it means going out into the unknown and knowing you have somewhere to go and that you’re barreling towards it, but not necessarily knowing the path that you’re gonna take. It’s all about putting one foot in front of the other. And ‘Pioneer’ as a song and an album really became a lifeline for the three of us.”

The Band Perry just announced their first international headlining tour, We Are Pioneers, which will kick off Nov. 8 in Sweden. See a list of all of their upcoming shows here.
