The Band Perry plan to wrap their breakthrough year with an appearance on the long-running 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve' special, with a televised performance during the last few hours of 2011. Television icon Dick Clark will celebrate his 40th year as host of the holiday staple, sharing his duties with Ryan Seacrest, Fergie, and Jenny McCarthy.

The Band Perry will no doubt perform their triple-platinum, No. 1 single, 'If I Die Young,' which earned the sibling trio Single and Song of the Year at last month's CMA Awards. "I wanna thank the fans of country music again," said lead singer Kimberly Perry as she accepted one of her three CMA trophies. "Your stories have changed our lives." The Band Perry also took home New Artist of the Year during the same ceremony.

With 2011 quickly coming to a close, the singers remain focused on the road ahead, which includes the release of the follow up to their gold-selling, self-titled debut album, which also produced the Top 5 'You Lie,' as well as their current single, 'All Your Life,' which nears the Top 10.

"We are in full force writing for album number two and really excited about the songs that are being born right now," Kimberly reveals to Billboard. "We've gotten to experience a wide variety of new things over the last two years. One thing that I'm so proud of already is everything rings 100 percent true. Every line that we're writing and singing is something that we feel deep down in our gut."

Other musical acts slated to appear on 'Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve' include Blink-182, Taio Cruz, Florence & the Machine, Gym Class Heroes, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, OneRepublic, Christina Perri and Will.i.am (of the Black Eyed Peas).

Tune in on Dec. 31 on ABC to catch all the year-end excitement.
