The Band Perry kicked off the 2014 ACM Awards on a high note.

The sibling trio opened the three-hour broadcast with a performance of their latest single, 'Chainsaw,' from their No. 1 selling 'Platinum' album.

Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry seemed completely confident as they belted out lines like, "Love is shady / Love is tragic / It's hard to bury the hatchet / Holdin' a chainsaw," as the lyrics flashed behind them on the screen, and confetti rained down on both them and the audience members, including Miranda Lambert.

'Chainsaw' was released last month, and is already in the Top 40.

Other performers for the evening include Lady Antebellum with Stevie Nicks, Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, and the evening's hosts, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.
