Students at Cascade High School in Cascade, Ia., were excited to go to school on Monday (Feb. 15) even though Presidents' Day is usually a holiday. The reason? The entire student body was treated to a free concert by the Band Perry.

The school received the show, as well as a check for $100,000, for winning State Farm's Celebrate My Drive contest, which encouraged communities to take a safe driving pledge. Cascade High School students won the small school division by getting all of the town's residents (population 2,200) to pledge online. At least $10,000 of the prize money must go to promoting safe driving.

“It’s crazy,” Cascade High School senior Reis Rausch tells KCRG News. “It’s a big accomplishment. I don’t think anybody thought we could actually win.”

Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry spent plenty of time on Twitter sharing their excitement for the show. Before taking the stage, the sibling trio got to leave their mark on the school, and during their performance, they brought some students up on stage to sing with them.

The recent Grammy winners are hard at work on a new album, the follow-up to their 2013 gold-certified Pioneer record.

“For this new record, we’re actually, we’re mixing it up,” Kimberly Perry says. “We have a lot of interesting things happening. You know, the co-writes are one thing we’ve gotten really excited about as well ... So we’ve just made a lot of new writing friendships, and we can’t wait for you guys to hear it.”

The Band Perry also have plenty of shows on their calendar over the next few months, including a stop at the Houston Rodeo on March 20. See all of their upcoming shows here.
