It's Taylor Swift's world; we're just dancing in it.

Last week, the music superstar surpassed YouTube to become the sixth most-followed Twitter account in the world. With almost 26.7 million followers (and about 50,000 new followers per day), she is now just behind Rihanna on the social network site. Justin Bieber has the the No. 1 most popular Twitter account, with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and President Barack Obama rounding out the Top 4.

Last week also marked Taylor's 41st Top 40 hit on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. And once again, Tim McGraw has proven a lucky chart charm for the blond beauty. Her very first Top 40 song on the all-genre chart was her debut single, "Tim McGraw." This 41st Top 40 is her collaboration with Tim and Keith Urban, "Highway Don't Care."

Taylor is now in a 10th place tie for the most Top 40 hits in the history of the Billboard Hot 100. She holds the record for the most Top 10 debuts, with "I Knew You Were Trouble" being her most recent, when it bowed at No. 3 last fall.

To top off what has become a typically tremendous week in Taylor's life, she was also honored by Elle magazine as one of 12 female singing sensations featured in the magazine's May issue. "All these emotions, everything that's said and all your experience, that's what inspires the first flicker of a song," she says in the Elle interview. "It's hard being a human being."

But not so hard being Taylor Swift.
