A country star has bumped Beyonce out of the top spot on the pop charts. Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' is now the No. 1 song on the USA Today Mediabase Top 40 chart, with Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' falling to No. 3, behind Lady Gaga's 'Just Dance.'

This is just one in a long line of crossover feats for the 19-year-old songbird. Swift's latest album, 'Fearless,' spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album charts, which covers all genres of music. She was the biggest-selling country artist of 2008 and No. 2 overall, just behind rapper Lil Wayne.

Over on the country side, Kenny Chesney and Mac McAnally claim the No. 1 spot on the charts this week with their collaboration, 'Down the Road.' This marks the first time for McAnally to top the charts as an artist, though he's enjoyed immense chart success as a songwriter and producer, and as a pop singer back in the late 70s and early 80s.
