Taylor Swift is joining a reality TV talent show. The songstress has been announced as an advisor for Season 7 of 'The Voice.'

Swift will help contestants for all four teams, headed up by returning coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine and newcomers Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani.

"Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with," a source tells Us Weekly. "She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."

The 'Shake It Off' singer will be in good company on the TV show. Little Big Town, Stevie Wonder, Gavin Rossdale and Alicia Keys will also act as mentors for the season.

The 24-year-old's appearance on the show comes as part of a busy year for the songstress. After wrapping up her global Red Tour earlier this year, she announced her upcoming album, '1989,' was her “first ever documented official pop album."

“[It's] the most sonically cohesive album I’ve ever made," she says, adding that it was inspired by the music of the '80s. “I really loved the chances they were taking,” she adds.

No word yet on which episode of 'The Voice' will include Swift. '1989' will be released on Oct. 27. Pre-order the record here.
