Sporting a festive, strapless red dress, Taylor Swift graces the latest cover of PEOPLE as the magazine's Most Intriguing Person of 2009. In a year filled with multiple accolades, including the coveted CMA Entertainer of the Year award, a record-breaking tour and a multi-platinum-selling album, all eyes have been on Taylor this year.

"You can stay the same person, even if everything around you changes," the 20-year-old singer says, referring to her world-wide rise to fame. "I would like to think everybody out there isn't just waiting for me to trip and fall and stumble out of a club drunk."

In a year when most celebrities her age made headlines more for their off-stage antics than for their career, Taylor guarantees that will never be her. "People know I'm not a party girl," she insists. "I'm not hiding some dying urge to be out clubbing right now."

Taylor tops an impressive list of people. Also included in the 'Intriguing' issue are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Mo'Nique, President Obama and his wife Michelle, Sandra Bullock, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Palin and Rihanna. The new PEOPLE magazine hits newsstands this Friday.
