Taylor Swift Takes Home First MuchMusic Award

Taylor Swift has another trophy to add to her growing collection. The 23-year-old won the award for Fave International Artist or Group at the MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night (June 16) in Toronto, Canada.

"This is my very first MMVA, so I am so excited," the international star gushed from the stage. "I want to thank MuchMusic for playing music videos and giving us a reason to put a visual element to our music ..."

She added, "To the fans! I've had an amazing weekend with you, with two sold-out shows."

Other big winners of the night included Avril Lavigne, Justin Bieber, Drake and Demi Lovato.

Swift will spend several more days in Canada. The songstress will continue her Red tour on Saturday (June 22) with a show in Winnipeg, MB, followed by stops in Edmonton, AB and Vancouver, BC. See a list of all of her upcoming concerts here.
