Taylor Swift to Perform at Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

Taylor Swift has been added to the list of performers for the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. She will join fellow country superstar Tim McGraw and an all-star roster to celebrate the nation's 237th birthday.

McGraw and Mariah Carey are headlining the event, which will also feature performances by Cher, Pitbull and Selena Gomez. 'America's Got Talent' host Nick Cannon will host the show. Eight-time Grammy winner Usher is providing the overall artistic vision for the event, collaborating with Macy's creative and pyrotechnic team for a design titled 'It Begins With a Spark.'

This year's broadcast marks the 37th anniversary of the event, which is the biggest fireworks display in America. The show will set off 40,000 different fireworks over the Hudson River.

The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will air live on NBC on Thursday, July 4 at 8PM ET, with a special encore presentation of the show's second hour at 10PM.
