Poor Taylor Swift! The singer rarely makes it through one of her frequent visits to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" without a few emotional scars. Her latest trip to the show, which aired Thursday (Oct. 25), with Taylor dressed in orange just in time for Halloween, was certainly no exception. Starting off with a clip featuring Taylor singing with actor Zac Efron, Ellen asked how her "boyfriend" was doing.

"We didn't date," the singer repeatedly asserted, followed by more cringe-inducing talk about her "boyfriends" (and we all know how she just loves to share details on the guys she's dating).

Taylor remained fairly tight-lipped while a rogue's gallery of exes, supposed exes and definitely not exes -- was displayed behind her, even after Ellen gave her a bell and asked her to ring it when the ex about whom Taylor wrote "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was shown on the screen. But after enduring the torture for a while, she shrieked "Stop, stop, stop! This makes me feel so bad about myself! Every time I come here you put, like, a different dude up there on the screen."

Taylor's tortures continued as she took a spine-chilling walk through Ellen's "Haunted Hallway" and it was pretty clear at the outset that it wasn't going to end well. "I hate haunted things," she told the sadistic host before footage of her chilling journey was shown. Later in the show, she performed her new single, the title track from the just-released Red.

If she hasn't gotten over the trauma inflicted by Ellen, Taylor will at least be able to console herself when the Red sales figures are released. The album is poised to sell more than one million copies in its first week out. Taylor will also take the stage during the CMA Awards, where she's nominated for three CMA awards, including Entertainer of the Year. The CMA Awards will air live, Thursday, Nov. 1, at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
