Taylor Swift has canceled her upcoming show in Bangkok, Thailand, scheduled for June 9, in the wake of a military coup in the country.

The show was part of her international Red Tour, which has traveled all over the globe, including stops in Europe and Australia. Local concert organizer BEC-Tero Entertainment, in charge of the Swift show in Thailand, says it was not an easy choice to cancel the sold-out concert.

"This has been a difficult decision for all parties,” the company states (quote via the Hollywood Reporter), adding that Swift offers “regret and sincere apologies to the fans in Thailand.”

The Bangkok stop was part of the Asian leg of her global Red Tour, which will still play in China, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore over the next two weeks. All of her Asian shows have sold out, with the songstress selling out the concert at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China, in a record-breaking one minute.
