Taylor Swift performed her new single, 'Blank Space,' for the first time on TV at the 2014 American Music Awards.

With a stage setup that somewhat mimicked the song's video, Swift donned a 1920s-inspired dress and did her best "crazy ex-girlfriend" impression while singing lyrics like "Boys only want love if it's torture / Don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya." The songstress received a rousing round of applause as she finished the tune.

'Blank Space' is Swift's second single from '1989,' which sold over one million copies in its first week out and remains at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart for a third week, besting, among others, Garth Brooks.
