Taylor Swift Named Artist of the Year at 2013 American Music Awards

Taylor Swift had a big night at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 24). Not only did the singer have a blast dancing during every performance, she also took home three awards, including the night's top honor, Artist of the Year.

This year marks the 'Red' singer's third win for Artist of the Year, setting a record for the most wins in the category. The win marked her 14th career American Music Award.

"My lucky number is 13 and so far you guys have made 2013 the most magical year of my life," she said. "I cannot thank you enough. This validates that if you voted for this, we are heartbroken in the same way and we fall in love the same way and we're happy the same way."

Swift also took home awards for Favorite Country Female Artist and Favorite Country Album.
