Tanya Tucker hasn't made an album since the death of her father/manager Beau Tucker in 2006. But she'll return on June 2 with a unique project.

USA Today reports that Tucker will release 'My Turn,' a collection featuring her renditions of classic songs popularized by some of country music's greatest male artists, including Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Faron Young and George Jones.

"My dad basically introduced me to all those singers," says the 50-year-old Tucker. "Most songs that I've ever done, from 'Delta Dawn' on, were really for guys. I've spent a career taking men's songs and making them a woman's songs."

'My Turn' was produced by Pete Anderson, who helped repopularize the classic Bakersfield sound with his work on many of Dwight Yoakam's albums throughout the '80s and '90s.
