Charles "Chip" Esten, who stars as singer Deacon Claybourne on the hit TV show Nashville, moved his family from the West Coast to Music City when he was cast in the ABC drama. The actor admits that he was a bit nervous about how he and the rest of the show's cast would be received in the music industry town, but he says that he has been pleasantly surprised by the warm reception.
During their time working on Nashville, many of the show's actors and actresses have come to love Music City so much that they've relocated permanently to the city. And according to Charles Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne, the show has become a love letter to one of the best cities in the U.S.
