If you spent any time dancing in country-music clubs in 2010, chances are your feet were 'Stuck Like Glue' to the dance floor. Relax, that's not a comment on your dancing skills, it's the Sugarland toe-tapper that topped the survey of 240 club owners, DJs and dance instructors, culminating in a list of the year's Top 10 most requested country dance-club songs.

'Stuck Like Glue' finished at No. 1 on the chart, which was compiled by Nashville-based country music dance venue marketing company, Marco Club Connection. It's the seventh annual ranking of club hits, which can be a vital part of a new country artist's career.

"As country music continues to incorporate more and more of a pop element, the dance clubs can be a very important tool in breaking an artist," says Club Connection Venue Marketing Specialist Bobbe Morhiser, citing singer/actress Laura Bell Bundy as proof. "'Giddy On Up' was huge in the dance clubs, and for a brand new artist to place in Club Connection's Top 5 at the end of the year is very impressive."

This year's chart-topper marks the first time a female singer (the duo's Jennifer Nettles) has finished at No. 1. Previous year-end No. 1's were the Zac Brown Band's 'Toes' in 2009; 'Good Time' (Alan Jackson, 2008); 'Firecracker' (Josh Turner, 2007); 'Brand New Girlfriend' (Steve Holy, 2006); 'Honkytonk Badonkadonk' (Trace Adkins, 2005) and 'Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)' (Big & Rich, 2004).
