Stoney LaRue is releasing a new studio record, Us Time, on Oct. 16, and he's giving The Boot's readers a first look at his new music video for one of its songs, “Feet Don’t Touch the Ground.”

The clip gives an up-close-and-personal look at the recording of the song itself. Video clips and photos are interspersed in the black-and-white video, and LaRue and his band are clearly enjoying themselves in the studio, with smiles and laughs shown all around.

"We got moonlight, all night / Lord, I pray on the next star I see tonight / Never lose this thing we found," LaRue sings. "You by my side, I can do without the city lights / I fly so high when you're around / My feet don't touch the ground."

"Feet Don't Touch the Ground" is the third track on LaRue's forthcoming record. Us Time boasts 11 tracks, including a cover of Glen Campbell's "Wichita Lineman."

“I am excited, honored, blessed and extremely elated that I get this opportunity to work with the people I do and that the fans gave me their ideas on what they wanted to see from me on this record," says the Texas-born and Oklahoma-bred LaRue. "It is their record, and I am honored to be the voice."

Fans can pre-order Us Time via iTunes and Amazon. For tour dates and further information on LaRue, fans can visit StoneyLaRue.com.
