WE Fest 2016’s Newest Star: Steven Tyler

WE Fest 2016's lineup just got even more exciting: Steven Tyler will be playing the summer festival, held in Detroit Lakes, Minn.

Not only Tyler he be playing WE Fest for the first time, he will also have his new band, Loving Mary, in tow. Though Tyler is new in the realm of country music, any music fan knows that he's the voice behind the legendary rock band Aerosmith, and now his voice is being heard within the country genre through two singles: "Love Is Your Name" and "Red, White & You."

The 34th annual WE Fest, which takes place at Soo Pass Ranch, will be a massive summer country music festival. The event will run Aug. 4-6, with Eric Church (who was added to the lineup during 2015's event), Tim McGraw and Kid Rock headlining. Other fan-favorite artists set to take the stage at WE Fest 2016 include Lee Brice, Billy Currington, Gary Allan, Montgomery Gentry, Joe Nichols, LoCash, Granger Smith featuring Earl Dibbles Jr., Halfway to Hazard, William Michael Morgan and Amanda Watkins.
