Fans are used to seeing Steven Tyler on TV thanks to his former role as a judge on American Idol, but this fall, he'll expand his television resume with a guest spot on the hit ABC drama Nashville.

The singer shared a photo of himself and Nashville star Hayden Panettiere on set on Tuesday (Aug. 18). In the photo, he's donning a silver suit, complete with a silver scarf and silver shoes, and Panettiere is in all black. Tyler's trademark mic stand, wrapped with colorful scarves, is also in the photo.

"HAYDEN AND I GETTING A LITTLE “CRAZY” ON SET AT @nashvilleabc YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS......#PATSYCLINE," the 67-year-old writes with the photo.

Tyler's rep has confirmed his appearance on the show to Us Weekly. As for the song he and Panettiere will be performing on Nashville, the caption gives a pretty big clue: We're guessing it'll be Patsy Cline's "Crazy."

The Aerosmith frontman's venture into country music is a side project, but it's one that he's deeply passionate about and has wanted to complete for a while. He announced his forthcoming country record in one of the genre's most iconic venues -- the Grand Ole Opry -- at the end of March and revealed his first single, "Love Is Your Name," on May 13.

“This is a side project, which has now turned into a love of life,” Tyler says. “I think we got something here that the radio would love to play. Look, that’s why I’m in it. I love to take the f–ing power to wow to the 100th degree. It’s just what I do."

Season 4 of Nashville will premiere on Sept. 23 at 10PM ET. There is no word yet on when Tyler's episode will air.
