Sheryl Crow is quickly finding success as a country artist. The singer's first single released to country radio, 'Easy,' has soared into the Top 20, and shows no signs of slowing down. The song is from her upcoming 'Feels Like Home,' which will be released on Sept. 10.

Crow says the album, which was recorded in her current hometown of Nashville, proves she is exactly where she is supposed to be.

“It wasn’t until I moved here that I realized what an amazing community it is,” she admits (quote via Music Row). “It’s the thing I’ve been missing my whole career, the feeling of being able to sit around with a guitar and have people know each other’s songs and know songs from people who’ve influenced all of us. When I moved here pretty early on Vince Gill started calling me to do guitar pulls, and I thought, gosh, this is just like heaven on earth down here.”

September will be a busy month for the singer. She will kick off her co-headlining Free and Easy tour with Gary Allan on Sept. 13 in Santa Barbara, Calif.

“I love Gary’s music," she explains. "He puts on the kind of show that I like to go see so I am thrilled to be out with him on tour, and really look forward to be able to perform my new music to the country fans this fall.”
