Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina Reunite for Randy Travis Duet [WATCH]

Artist fan club parties during the 2015 CMA Music Festival are always a special treat, but those at Scotty McCreery's party on Wednesday (June 10) got an extra surprise when Lauren Alaina showed up to sing with him.

The two former American Idol contestants -- McCreery won Season 10, while Alaina was the runner-up -- performed Randy Travis' "I Told You So," their voices blending together beautifully on the sentimental tune. After the party, McCreery thanked Alaina on Twitter, writing, "Always great singing with you! You rock!" In return, Alaina said that it was "an honor to share the stage with you again."

McCreery is currently on the road with Rascal Flatts, on their their 2015 Riot Tour. Alaina, meanwhile, tells The Boot that she's almost ready to share her new album with fans, after undergoing vocal cord surgery last year.

"I had time to figure myself out, come into my sound," she says. "I’m excited for people to hear [the album]. It’s a new me."
