Twenty-seven-year-old Sarah Dunn, an artist based in Missouri, is premiering her "Dirty" lyric video exclusively for readers of The Boot -- and, after hearing the tune, you'll understand why the singer doesn't wear white.

The "Dirty" lyric video features Dunn singing into an old-school microphone as the song's lyrics appear around her in big, bold and colorful lettering.

"I can't wear white / It never goes quite right / I try to keep it clean / But I need some bleach / Every time I step outside," Dunn sings with gusto. "I might as well give up / And climb up in this truck / Find me a big mud hole / And let it roll / Right into 4-wheel drive."

In the chorus of "Dirty," Dunn sings, "Dirty never looked so good / Big mud flaps and shotgun racks / Deer antlers on the hood /  Downright filthy / We're gonna slip and slide / So jump on in / And buckle in / It's gonna be a rough ride / We're getting dirty / Out in the sticks / Sexy rednecks and homegrown hicks / Slinging up gravel / Feeling kinda flirty / Everybody come on and get dirty," as "mud" is slung onto the screen and tire tracks appear.

Dunn's band, the members of which are based in Tulsa, Okla., includes Roger Caple, Teddy Scott, Sean Fisher and Jake Lynn. Their latest release, Wild Wild Heart, includes seven tracks; Dunn penned six of the tunes, including "Dirty," and her mother wrote "Ain't Got No Home." The themes of heartbreak, struggle, joy and love are prevalent throughout the record, as Dunn works to write songs that are rooted in traditionalism.

"My roots run really deep, not just in country but also old-time music," she explains. "I'm an old soul. I feel like I was born a hundred years late sometimes."
